Our shower bars include an embedded Jute string. This string is surprisingly soft, especially when it gets wet. It is great for people who have mobility issues in a shower, as it makes a good handhold. But it also is designed so you can hang it on a hook in your shower area, (perhaps a Command strip) and let it drip dry and air dry so it does not get mushy or gross before it is used up completely. 

      Every Ember & Ashe Solid Face & Body Wash Bar is a concentrated cleansing bar made without the large amount of water found in traditional liquid body wash. Many commercially available body washes contain 70–90% water, requiring plastic bottles, preservatives, and additional packaging. Because our bars are highly concentrated, a single bar can provide the equivalent cleansing performance of multiple bottles of liquid body wash when allowed to dry properly between uses.

      Each bar is thoughtfully finished with a natural, biodegradable jute hanging cord, making it easy to hold, even with wet hands. Many of our customers appreciate the added grip, especially those with arthritis, reduced hand strength, or limited dexterity. Simply hang your bar after use to allow air to circulate freely around it. Keeping the bar dry between showers helps it stay firm, extend its lifespan, and deliver a rich, creamy lather from the first wash to the last. It's a simple, sustainable design that reduces waste, saves money, and makes your daily shower routine just a little easier.
